Assessment

Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics is a developmentally sensitive and trauma informed approach to clinical problem solving. We have twelve clinicians trained to conduct assessments using this model.
DAY PROGRAMS

Alderwood Family Development Centre is a therapeutic school program for children
ages 6 – 12 who have multiple complex needs including social and behavioural challenges. -
The Education Transition Centre provides school aged children with a short term interim education opportunity while the most appropriate placement is identified within the Surrey school system.
FAMILY SUPPORT

Families who benefit from a more intensive service are often referred to our
Surrey Family Preservation service offered in the Surrey area. -
Parents of children with autism and other complex needs may be eligible to receive
Respite services. -
Grandparents and other next of kin may receive support services through our
Family Care Support services. -
Complex Behaviour Support program are available for parents of children with FASD.
COUNSELLING

We offer counselling services for families with children under the age of 12. For more information contact Cedarwood Family Counselling.
caregiver SUPPORT

Foster parents caring for children under 12 with complex needs may obtain a referral to the Family Care Support program.

Children who need a long-term stable placement may be suitable for our Thetis program.
